What is The Banshee Project?
This project is focusing on all aspects of Irish death as part of my Blog. I wanted to create this section as to further talk about death and dying in a culture often associated with funerals and wake tradition. Not just focusing on folklore (i.e., the banshee herself), I would love to focus on heritage sites, archaeology, history, traditions – the list goes on! If you would like to guest blog just let me know – I am open to all topics as long as it is related to Ireland.
